We’re back at it and named a double winner for this year’s Business Excellence Awards. Not just winning Business of the Year this year, but Owner and Photogrpaher: Chris Chong received the Tri-Cities Chamber Member of the Year Award as well! This might be the streak of the year. To be recognized by the community and judges is a super great honour. We appreciate all that the chamber does for the Tri-Cities business community. Business of the Year 2020 Port Moody Spike Awards
What an interesting year for awards. Quite frankly, we weren’t thinking about them! That said, we appreciate the City of Port Moody for recognizing us as the 2020 Business of the Year. It’s an honour to be recognized in our own backyard and hope to continue our mission of helping businesses with their branding/marketing needs and of course thrive!
Butter Studios Agency named Finalist for 2020 CSE Awards
We’re pleased to be a finalist for the Best Event Photography – National category at this year’s Canadian Event Awards! Butter Studios was one of four finalists and the only Metro Vancouver/BC-based studio in this category. We’re always excited to work with many clients on different aspects of branding and that includes capturing amazing events. Thank you to the judges for this honour, our clients that trust us with capturing their amazing events, and our industry colleagues for being awesome to work with!

It’s rare for a photography studio to be recognized in the business world so we are always grateful for the recognition from organizations like the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce. This year we were recognized for being a leader in our industry. Performance is a factor but this nod from the Chamber really speaks to our focus on quality, excellent service to our clients, and involvement in our community.

Not our usual category for awards, but an honour nonetheless! Butter Studios was recognized by the Small Business BC judges for our social media and online marketing prowess. While we maintain a our social media presence to let the public see what we’re up to, really our posts are to recognize the awesome clients and events that we’re fortunate to work with.

With small businesses making up for 1/3 of Canada’s GDP, there were more than a few fantastic companies in this category so it was a special one to win.
